The term "Smart TV" is referring to the TV set with integrated internet and some web 2.0 features. It's also calling as hybrid TV since it's a combination of basic computer and traditional television set.
Watching TV - There are four ways to watch channels with a Smart TV set.
1. Tuner - As Traditional TV set.
2. Cable TV - Via Cable TV service.
3. Satellite TV - Via satellite TV service.
4. IPTV - Internet Protocol TV.
Internet Browsing
To connect to the internet, it requires to set-up a home network. All the Smart TV have the Ethernet cable connection facility and most of them are supporting with wireless connection too.
